MOTODYNAMICS S.A. Is the official exclusive distributor of YAMAHA MOTOR Co. Ltd. in Greece, Romania and Bulgaria, of PORSCHE AG and SIXT in Greece.
The Motodynamics story starts in 1969 with the import of Yamaha products in Greece by “Iliopoulos Bros.”, as the company traded back then. The company has been listed in the Athens Stock Exchange.
In the 1990s, the company began its overseas operations, initially in Bulgaria and later in Romania, acquiring rights as the official importer of Yamaha Motor Co. products for both countries.
To build a fully integrated range of commercial products the company has established numerous commercial agreements acquiring exclusive distribution rights for a variety of prestigious commercial brands in market sectors that include boats, lubricants, tyres, and motorcycle rider wear (Continental, Alpinestars, Shark, Richa, and Selva).
In May MOTODYNAMICS was proud to add Porsche to its commercial operations in the Greek market. The Porsche legendary shield joined the MOTODYNAMICS range of products, with all the excitement that only brand such as Porsche could possibly stir.
Porsche Centers in Athens and Thessaloniki sport experienced members of staff and state-of-the-art of equipment.
In December 2018, Motodynamics S.A. acquired 80.5% of Lion Rental S.A. marking a new era for Sixt, pointing to continuous improvement of services and re-positioning in the market.
In October 2020, all administrative services and divisions moved to ournew facilities in Marousi, at 10 Germanikis Sholis.
In April 2021 the Yamaha spare parts warehouse moved to Mandra, Attica.
The commercial divisions of the Motodynamics organisational structure are YAMAHA, PORSCHE, SIXT and MOTODIKTYO. This structure is complete with support divisions of Finance, IT, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs.
Motodynamics employs a team of 292 expertly-qualified professionals in total, with heightened custome orientation and a strong sense of commitment to the partner network, shareholders, as well as customers and the broader community. Staff are employed in our central facilities in Amarousio, at the Porsche Centers in Metamorfosi and Thessaloniki, the three Motodiktyo branches, and the Motodynamics offices in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Bucharest, Romania.

In 2013 he was elected Director, and in 2015 he was elected Executive Chairman of the Board of Motodynamics S.A., a listed company in the Athens Stock Exchange. In January 2023, he assumed the role of Chairman and CEO of Motodynamics SA.
In 2021 he was elected Director and member of the Strategy Committee of Imerys S.A.
From 2013 to 2018 and since 2022 has served as Director at the ALBA Association. Since 2021 he serves as a Director at Junior Achievement Greece.
He is a member of YPO Aegean/Macedonia Chapter since 2018 and a member of the Board since 2022.
He studied Political Science and obtained a Master’s degree from the University of Boston. He also holds a BSc in Economics, Bentley University, USA. Since 2005 he has been a member of the Social Affairs Committee (SAC) and a member of Aerospace & Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD). He has been a Member of the Board of Directors of ELEFSIS’ SHIPBUILDING AND INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES S.A. and of SYROS SHIPBUILDING AND INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES S.A., as well as a CEO of ELEFSIS’ SHIPBUILDING AND INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES S.A. He is a Director of MOTODYNAMICS S.A. since 2007. He also served as a Director of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) from 2002 until 2008 (Treasurer from 2006 until 2008). From 2003 until 2007, he was a Board member of the Professional Chamber of the Enterprise Policy Group, European Commission.
She studied Agricultural Economy in England. She worked at VARANGIS S.A., in the retail sales departments and served as Head of After-Sales Service. For a period of two years, she was a Director of the Company. In 1985 she switched to the ready-made clothing sector, starting at ENDYMATOPOIITIKI S.A. where she was responsible for the design, manufacturing and retail sales of THE BOSTONIANS brand. When the national distribution of THE BOSTONIANS brand was taken over by SPORTSMAN, where she was also a Board Director, she remained at the retail sales division which was also handling other brands owned by the company. She moved on to NOTOS COM HOLDINGS, where she developed the retail branch network for the branded collections represented by the Group in Romania, Skopje and Kosovo. She was also responsible for the group’s retail shops in Greece, mainly those operating in shopping malls. She is currently involved in the creation of quality branded agricultural products and their distribution networks.
Eleni Vrettou is the Chief Executive Officer of Attica Bank since September 2022 and has more than 20years international experience in Banking, specializing in the areas of Investment, Corporate and Commercial Banking.
Prior to her present position, she held the role of Chief Strategy and Investor Relations Officer for Lamda Development.
From April 2019 to April 2022 Ms. Vrettou served as the Executive General Manager, Chief of Corporate and Investment Banking at Piraeus Bank Group and, she has also acted as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Piraeus Factors S.A, Piraeus Leasing and Piraeus Leases, as well as a Director for ETVA Industrial Development Zones.
Before that, she had worked for 14 years at HSBC Bank Plc (“HSBC”) in Greece and United Kingdom. In her most recent role at HSBC, Eleni was a Managing Director and Head of Wholesale Banking Greece, while prior to that, she had served as the Head of Multinationals and Business Development for HSBC in CEE, CIS, Mediterranean and SubSaharan Africa regions.
Prior to HSBC, she had worked for Greek and foreign financial institutions in Athens and New York in the fields of Credit and Risk Management and Investment Banking (M&A).
Ms. Vrettou holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
He is a graduate Electrical Engineer (NTUA) specializing in Production Engineering and holds a Master of Science in Business Research, University of Lancaster (UK).
He has many years of auditing experience in numerous companies in Greece and abroad. His areas of interest include business audits, financial audits, compliance audits, corporate governance, risk management and implementation of internal audit systems.
Prior to joining the multinational S&B Group as Internal Audit Manager where he worked for approximately 20 years, he held various administrative and managerial positions in Peiraiki-Patraiki S.A. as Production Engineer and in Hellenic Technology and Structures S.A. as Project Manager and later as Management Director.
He is a founding shareholder of AKAMAI CONSULTING SERVICES PRIVATE COMPANY (ΙΚΕ). He has been a member of the Audit Committee of the ALBA Union since 2007 and a member of MOTODYNAMIC’S Audit Committee since 2019.
He was the CEO of MOTODYNAMIKI S.A. from January 2008 until December 2022.
Since January 2023 he has been a non-executive Director.
From March 2021 to March 2022, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the then newly established Hellenic Association of Motorcycle Importers.
From 2017 to 2020, he served as Chairman of the steering committee, Motorcycle Division, of the Association of Motor Vehicle Importers-Representatives (AMVIR).
From 1994 to 2007 he worked at S&B Group INDUSTRIAL MINERALS SA (formerly Silver & Baryte Ores Mining Company SA), where in recent years he was the Group’s Chief Financial Officer. He has also worked in England for the multinational industrial gas group AIR PRODUCTS PLC as Manager, European Treasury Operations.
For a number of years, he has also taught at the Athens Laboratory of Business Administration (ALBA), in the “Mergers & Acquisitions” course of the Professional MBA program. He graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with distinction in Economics and Management. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Manchester Business School.

Chairperson of the Board of Directors at the Hellenic Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (ELINYAE), the body established by social partners (SEV, GSEE, GSEVEE, ESEE, SETE) on health and safety issues. For a number of years, she has been an HR executive in various companies. The Division manages the wholesales of YAMAHA MOTOR Co motorcycles and other vehicles, marine products, parts and accessories in Greece. Products are distributed through a network comprising 56 partners for land products and 87 partners for marine products.
The Division also handles the Group’s operations in Romania and Bulgaria through its local subsidiaries which operate as Official Yamaha Motor Co. it is responsible for the design and implementation of the strategic development plan in Romania and Bulgaria.
The Division manages the retail sales of YAMAHA MOTOR Cο. products (motorcycles, marine products, parts and accessories) through three vertical locations (showroom, parts, service) operated by Motodiktyo SA, the official Yamaha Dealer in Attica and the official e shop Motodirect. The division is also responsible for the imports and sales of a range of motorcycle accessories and rider equipment. The head of the Division is responsible for the strategic development and operation of the retail stores in Attica, as well as for its overall product and service offering.
The Division manages the wholesale and retail sales of PORSCHE AG products (vehicles, parts and accessories) in the Greek market. Porsche vehicles are sold through two vertical locations (Porsche Centers with vehicle/parts sales and service maintenance) of the Company in Metamorphosi, Attica, and in Thessaloniki, as well as through a vertical unit operated by an independent official dealer in Glyfada.
The head of the Porsche Division is responsible for the design and implementation of the Division’s strategy. He/she also monitors and supervises all business activities (supply, sales, marketing, after-sales).
The Division operates in Greece through Lion Rental SA as the exclusive franchisee of Sixt GmbH providing short-term and long-term vehicle leasing services. This operation is supported by a private network of 14 rental stations throughout the country.
The head of the Division is responsible for the design and implementation of the appropriate commercial policy, the effective operation and further development of rental stations and the composition of the appropriate vehicle fleet.
The head of the Accountings Division contributes to the success of the Group’s business plan and ensures availability of financial resources in Greece and abroad (Romania and Bulgaria) for all the Group’s business activities. He/she co-ordinates and supervises all the Group’s financial operations and ensures all financial information requirements are met both within and outside the Group.
The head of the IT Division contributes to the success of the Group’s business plan through the elaboration and implementation of the Group IT infrastructure strategy. He/she designs and monitors the implementation of applications and systems in all Group divisions and central departments in Greece and abroad, aiming at covering all their technological needs. He/she is also responsible for system and information security in all applications and systems.
The Head of the Division contributes to the success of the Group’s strategy by developing and implementing a strategic plan aiming at attracting, developing, and retaining the Group’s human resources in Greece and abroad.
The main pillars of the role include the design, implementation and continuous improvement of HR programs and systems regarding talent acquisition and retention, performance measurement, development of skills and competencies and the management of all labor relations issues.
The head of the division contributes to the success of the Group’s business plan by formulating and enhancing the Group’s image. His/her main task is to design and implement the communication plan addressed to various audiences within and outside the Group by effectively managing all communication channels.
