Athens, April 15, 2024 – MOTODYNAMICS Group continues to evolve, grow and play a leading role in every step and in every strategic move. With love for sports as its driving force, it used the platform of the top sports tourism & wellness event, the Navarino Challenge held in Costa Navarino, which highlighted the values that are in the Group’s DNA.
More specifically, the strategy followed and implemented for its sponsorship of the Navarino Challenge event brought a Bronze award to the great institution of the 2024 Sports Marketing Awards that highlight the protagonists in the field of sports marketing in Greece. The award of MOTODYNAMICS Group took place in the category “Best Sponsorship Program / Strategy for Sports Organization / Event” and concerned the completeness of its sponsorship program, which was based on both the CSR pillars and the communication of the premium profile of the SIXT brand. The award was received by the Corporate Affairs Manager of MOTODYNAMICS Group, Ms. Myra Passia, the Development Manager of SIXT Greece, Mr. Antonios Markoutsas, and the Network Manager of SIXT, Mr. Andreas Sazaklis.
As part of the awarding event, the Corporate Affairs Manager of MOTODYNAMICS Group, Ms. Myra Passia said: “We are particularly pleased that the strategy we developed, having Corporate Social Responsibility and Sports as its pillars, highlighted to the maximum the values of the MOTODYNAMICS Group that are at the core of its actions, such as those of Integrity, Trust, Respect and Excellence, as well as the principles that govern our dynamic relationship with our athletes and sports in general. In this framework, we highlighted the Premium and Luxury elements of SIXT. With a rich portfolio of high-level actions and the full cooperation of the bodies and athletes we work with, we managed to implement innovative actions that promote sport in the country, strengthen the connection of sport with society and thus contribute to the stimulation of Greek tourism and the Greek and local economy. We continue this year our cooperation with the leading sports tourism organization & wellness body, Navarino Challenge, reserving even more actions for the public and participants”.
Some of the actions that highlighted the innovation and effectiveness of the MOTODYNAMICS Group with SIXT in their sponsorship included the following:
- All athletes and ambassadors of the event moved safely, with the renewed car fleet of SIXT, a member of the MOTODYNAMICS Group and Premium Mobility Partner of the 2023 Navarino Challenge. The Group’s premium cars adorned the entrances of W Costa Navarino and The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort throughout the event.
- MOTODYNAMICS Group has implemented sustainable practices, actively contributing to environmental protection. More specifically, the dynamic MOTODYNAMICS Cleaning Team comprising the best Greek female walker of all time, two-time European gold champion, bronze world champion and Olympic champion Antigone Drisbioti and the best Greek pole vault jumper, 4th Olympic champion in Tokyo Emmanuel Karalis, together with the people of Moraitis Watersports and the large team of volunteers of the University of Piraeus undertook the cleaning of the Gialova beach. The amount of dead Posidonia leaves collected from the beach was placed in special bags and forwarded in order to give a second life through PHEE technology, thus contributing to the reduction of the event’s environmental footprint and to the awareness of participants on the principles of circular economy.
- The participants of the Navarino Challenge had the opportunity to run the enchanting 10 km route by the sea powered by SIXT, a member of the MOTODYNAMICS Group, crossing hundreds of old olive trees overlooking the Ionian Sea. Those who finished the route received a medal made of reused Posidonia leaves.
- MOTODYNAMICS Group supported the volunteer team of Humanity Greece which aims at improving conditions and providing substantial assistance to vulnerable social groups throughout the country. Humanity Greece moved with the power of SIXT at Navarino Challenge, while its great volunteer work helped the smooth running of the event.
- Finally, it contributed to strengthening the social face of the event by supporting 11 NGOs and charitable initiatives through its ambassadors. Its athletes, Antigone Drisbioti and Emmanuel Karalis, offered their favourite items at the “Sharing is Caring” auction, with which they have brought huge successes.
