MOTODYNAMICS Group announces changes to its structure
In the context of continuously improving its operation and efficiency, MOTODYNAMICS Group is changing its structure.
The Group is now organized into three (3) individual business branches: YAMAHA, PORSCHE and SIXT. As part of this reorganisation, the YAMAHA branch will absorb the administration of the MOTODIRECT branch.
The YAMAHA branch is active in the wholesale of motorcycles and other vehicles, marine products, spare parts and accessories of YAMAHA MOTOR Co. in Greece. Product distribution is carried out through a network for land products and partners for marine products. The YAMAHA branch is also responsible for the Group’s operations in Romania and Bulgaria via where its local subsidiaries as Official Importers of Yamaha Motor Co. in those countries, as well as in Albania and Moldova.
The MOTODIRECT branch is involved in the retail sale of all Yamaha motor Co. products through three integrated physical stores and an online store. The new merged branch will be managed by the General Manager of the YAMAHA branch, Mr. Ioannis Sokialis.
Mr. Leonikos Mavrogenis, General Manager of MOTODIRECT will staying with our company to assist in this transition until mid-February. He has shown exemplary ethos and had decisive contribution to the Group; we warmly thank him for his dedication over the years.
No changes have been made to the executive Human Resources Division. Ms. Sophia Thomaidou, Chief People Officer, will retire from her duties on 1 March 1, after five years of successful presence in the Group. Mrs. Thomaidou played a pivotal role in shaping the Group’s human resources strategy, structuring the department, and —among other achievements—in the Group’s recognition as a Best Workplace by the Great Place to Work organisation in both Greece and Europe.
