Promoting Education, Road Safety, Diversity & the Environment at the 7th Santorini Experience
Athens, 14 October 2024 – MOTODYNAMICS Group is once again leading the way with a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy based on Education, Road Safety, Sports, the Environment and the Support of Fellow People with mobility challenges. For the first time, MOTODYNAMICS Group supported the great Santorini Experience sports tourism event that took place for the 7th year in Santorini from 3 to 6 October.
The Group joined forces with its network of partners and teams to contribute to making this year’s Santorini Experience the most successful yet. Specifically, it organized a series of actions for education, road safety, diversity and the environment, inspiring young generations about inclusion and solidarity, which we all have to embrace.
Talks with Dimitris Papanikolaou powered by MOTODYNAMICS
Talks on diversity were delivered for the first time to students of the Junior High Schools of Fira, Mesaria, and Emporio, the Special School of Messaria, and the Lyceum of Fira in collaboration with the former international basketball player, European champion, and ambassador of the MOTODYNAMICS Group, Dimitris Papanikolaou. The children were inspired by the top athlete’s talks, eagerly taking photos with him and asking for autographs throughout the event.

10 km powered by SIXT, a member of the MOTODYNAMICS Group
Participants in Santorini Experience had the opportunity to run on the magnificent path that connects Oia with Fira, on the Caldera overlooking the volcano. On Saturday, 5 October, the 10 km trail run powered by SIXT, a member of the MOTODYNAMICS Group, launched; this route was designed for more experienced distance runners.
A world of unrestricted sustainable mobility
With a passion for motion, MOTODYNAMICS Group put into practice its vision for sustainable mobility. At this year’s event, through the SIXT brand operating on the island, it offered guests and participants access to its premium fleet—including electric vehicles—supporting both environmental sustainability and, above all, safe transportation.
The Group’s distinguished guests lived a unique experience on the island, including guided tours to museums, unprecedented gastronomic experiences, wine tasting and helicopter rides.
Swimming safely with SIXT
The swimming route was one of the highlights of the event and was conducted safely in the enchanting waters of Santorini. SIXT, a member of the MOTODYNAMICS Group, contributed to the safety of the race, taking care of all the swimmers of the event by providing them safety with life jackets, which were mandatory for everyone.
Support Volunteering
As part of the Memorandum of Understanding between the MOTODYNAMICS Group and the Athens University of Economics and Business, support was provided to university students who volunteered at the Santorini Experience event. The aim of this cooperation is, among other things, to strengthen the relationship between the business and academic communities to facilitate the connection of AUEB students and graduates with the labour market.
