After more than 70 years of history that have made Porsche one of the most iconic brands in the world, more than two hundred guests spent an evening dedicated to those who stay awake from the power of their dreams, who are not afraid to chase something bigger than themselves and dare to imagine what those around them consider impossible.

The aim of the new Porsche Center Athens is to create a space where dreams come to life, bringing Porsche one step closer to the modern luxury it represents.

During his speech, Mr. Kyriakopoulos, Chair and CEO of MOTODYNAMICS Group, passionately referred to the Group’s Vision – A World of Sustainable Mobility, a vision that Porsche brings to life by gradually electrifying more and more models. “With the arrival of the new Porsche Center Athens, fans of the brand acquire a representation and a more direct relationship with the brand, a place that reflects the Porsche values and the dreams it creates.” Mr. Kyriakopoulos also paid special attention to the important part of the long-term intergenerational relationships of trust that the Group has developed with its partners, while conveying his personal love for Porsche, making a reference to the late Odysseus Kyriakopoulos and how the idea of bringing Porsche to the MOTODYNAMICS Group, which was founded in 1969, was born.
As Mr. Colas Henckes, Porsche Marketing Director, Central & Eastern Europe, said in his speech, “the new Porsche Center Athens will be a common meeting point for the Porsche family, where both existing and prospective customers will be able to experience the brand and connect with it”.
Tonia Sotiropoulou welcomed the audience with the inspirational words of the founder of the legendary automotive brand: ‘At first, I looked around, and I could not see the car of my dreams anywhere. So, I decided to build it – These are the words of Ferry Porsche, who started with a dream in 1931. And thanks to this dream, and so much more dreams that followed, we are here tonight.” She then referred to the concept of luxury, explaining that for Porsche the essence of luxury manifests itself in providing a flawless and meaningful customer experience.
The inauguration of the brand-new Porsche Center Athens was the perfect occasion for the first pan-European unveiling of the new electric Porsche Taycan – more powerful, faster, with increased range and more stable charging. The new Taycan is just the beginning for Porsche’s next chapter, which aims for 80% of the new models it will deliver by 2030 to be electric.
The glamorous opening event was attended by important personalities of Greek business and social life, as well as media representatives, who walked on the Porsche Red Carpet.
