9-month results 2022 announced

The 9-month period of 2022 ended with a strong growth in all figures for Motodynamics.  

Specifically for the whole 9-month period, sales grew by 37.9% compared to 2021 and amounted to 102.5 million.   Earnings before tax, interest & depreciation (EBITDA) amounted to €22.4 million, increased by 85.5%, while the results before taxes amounted to €13.5 million, more than double the amount of 2021.

Regarding Q3 only, the Group’s sales rose by 45.7% compared to the same 2021 quarter and amounted to €44.7 million, the profit before tax, interest & depreciation (EBITDA) amounted to €14.6 million, increased by 55.1%, while the results before taxes amounted to €10.3 million, increased by 41.3%.

Motorbike and & marine product sales (Yamaha) have maintained their momentum (even though supply chain issues persist) and grew by 19.5% to 50.7 million euros. The situation is even more positive for car sales (Porsche) which amount to 19.9 million euros, with an increase of 49.6% in a total car market in Greece that had only marginally grown in the first nine months of 2022.

The recovery in car rentals (Sixt) has been spectacular, with sales in the third quarter recording an increase of 51.3% to 21.2 million euros and an overall increase of 74.5% to 32.5 million euros in the nine-month period.
