MOTODYNAMICS Group Strengthens Sustainable Mobility Portfolio adding Torqeedo

The strategic partnership expands the company’s presence in electromobility and at sea.

Athens, 14 May 2025 – The MOTODYNAMICS Group announces the launch of a partnership with Torqeedo, a global leader in marine electrification and a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. The collaboration is part of the group’s strategic plan to strengthen its market presence, with a particular emphasis on enhancing its portfolio in sustainable mobility.

Torqeedo is globally renowned for its expertise in the design and manufacture of electric outboard motors, hybrid drive systems and high-performance energy solutions.

Torqeedo, part of the Marine Business Unit within Yamaha’s portfolio, is launched in the Greek market as a first step, with plans for expansion into selected international markets within the company’s designated regions of responsibility.

The Torqeedo range includes the Ultralight (1-3hp equivalent) and Travel (2-5hp equivalent) models, ideal for smaller vessels, as well as the more powerful Cruise (6-25hp equivalent) models for larger vessels.
