Changing of guard at MOTODYNAMICS
Sotiris Hatzikos, the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, will be completing his 15-year tenure on December 31st of this year.
Mr. Hatzikos took the helm of Motodynamics in 2008. A dynamic leader, he navigated in a turbulent economic and political environment, and transformed the group through a strong emphasis on organic and external growth. Mr. Hatzikos led the group through its biggest growth phase in history, most notably through the addition of Porsche and Sixt to MOTODYNAMICS’ operations in Greece, in 2011 and 2018 respectively, which build on the solid foundation established by Yamaha. By capitalizing on the Group’s history and DNA, the economic growth further enabled an internal transformation, with a more clear and nimble organizational structure, better positioned to adapt and respond to future challenges.
On January 1st, 2023, Paris Kyriacopoulos, Executive Chairman of MOTODYNAMICS, will be taking over as the Group’s CEO.
Having been a Board member since 2013 and Executive Chairman since 2015, Mr. Kyriacopoulos will bring a deep knowledge of the Group’s history to his new role, along with a clear vision for its future.
During his professional career he has been an associate with The Boston Consulting Group, a General Manager in Imerys S.A and CEO of FiberLean Technologies Ltd.
Mr. Kyriacopoulos holds a BA Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School.
