International Volunteer Day: MOTODYNAMICS Group honored as a great supporter of Humanity Greece
MOTODYNAMICS and humanity Greece together become the world that changes
The two years of operation of Humanity Greece (https://humanitygreece.org/) were celebrated with great brilliance on Tuesday, December 5, at the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus.
Celebrating the International Volunteer Day, December 5, and wanting (for the first time in Greece) to highlight the valuable contribution of the people who were on the front line for yet another year, offering important humanitarian work, Humanity Greece symbolically illuminated important monuments of the country. The colors of Purple illuminated iconic monuments and sculptures of the country from the Municipality of Athens, Thessaloniki, North Evia to Zakynthos and the border islands, reminding that when Man stands next to Man, there is hope. “
For two years now, Humanity Greece continues to deliver what it has promised since its inception, i.e. to give voice to those who cannot be heard and to support, through a huge chain of volunteers, any vulnerable or high-risk social group in immediate need, in order to identify and timely address its problems.
In fact, during the event the organization tried to bring back to the fore all the serious disasters that our fellow human beings have suffered and are still suffering from the effects of climate phenomena, while highlighting the multifaceted and moving offer of the public, which supported the huge needs that arose with excess love. On the International Volunteer Day, Humanity Greece paid tribute to its volunteers, with the strongest proof that together we can become the world that changes.
Among those who continuously contribute to the difficult and unpredictable work of Humanity Greece, is the MOTODYNAMICS Group (www.motodynamics.gr). Thus, as a sign of appreciation and respect, the Group was honoured in the context of the great celebration of Volunteerism, symbolizing the importance of the invaluable contribution to the smooth flow of humanitarian aid provided by Humanity Greece to the civil society.
Ms. Myra Passia, Corporate Affairs Manager of the company, analyses the philosophy of this partnership and its future goals.
“We were next to Humanity Greece in the serious ecological disasters that our country had to face with the fires and floods. In particular, we provided vehicles for the daily transport of products to those affected by the Coordination Centre, as well as additional vehicles to facilitate its action in Rhodes, Corfu and Thrace. At the same time, we embrace and highlight its work through our collaborations with other Organizations, Agencies, Sponsorships, such as, for example, through our cooperation with the Navarino Challenge, but also through the “Sharing is Caring” programme, “says Ms. Myra Passia, Corporate Affairs Manager of MOTODYNAMICS while she focuses on why the company decided to support the actions of this organization.
“Humanity Greece is based on the common vision of a young, dynamic and active woman, Georgia Paraschou, and a group of young volunteers. Young people with faith in the “No One Alone” vision. Young people who consciously choose to offer. This is what motivated us to offer in any way we can. After all, the DNA of Humanity Greece is characterised by a need for continuous development, a need which also governs MOTODYNAMICS. Its facilities on Myllerou Street is a hospitable “beehive”, as each of the permanent volunteers knows exactly what to do and every fellow citizen who wants to offer work or goods immediately feels part of the team. “
How will the cooperation between the two sides evolve in the new year?
“Within the next year, we intend to strengthen our cooperation, helping to implement the new “Mobile Emergency Unit ” project but also to repair a damaged elementary school in Thessaly.”
